A Relaxed Morning Getting Ready at Chestnut Springs

The day began with Celine getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite at Chestnut Springs surrounded by her aunties, whose laughter and excitement filled the room all morning long. They kept the atmosphere lighthearted and joyful, helping calm any nerves while celebrating every moment leading up to the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Colby spent the morning getting ready with the help of his mom and dad, making for such meaningful and emotional moments before the day officially began.

One of the things that made this wedding feel especially unique was that instead of having a traditional wedding party, Celine and Colby chose to have “beer boys” made up of Celine’s cousins and Colby’s brother.

The Beer Boys Were a Huge Hit

The beer boys quickly became one of the highlights of the day. Wearing custom-made vests and carrying ice cold beverages for guests, they brought so much fun and personality to the celebration — especially on such a beautiful sunny day in Chilliwack.

It was such a creative and memorable way to include family while keeping the wedding relaxed and true to the couple’s personalities.

One of the most iconic parts of a wedding at Chestnut Springs is the horse-drawn carriage experience. Guests are transported from the parking lot to the ceremony and reception space by carriage, instantly creating such a magical atmosphere from the moment they arrive.

For the ceremony, Celine arrived to the aisle in the beautiful bridal carriage, making for an unforgettable entrance surrounded by the orchard scenery and mountain views that make Chestnut Springs such a stunning Chilliwack wedding venue.

During the ceremony, Celine and Colby shared personalized vows that had everyone both laughing and emotional. Their vows reflected their deep friendship, love, and excitement for the future they are building together.

Brick Oven Pizza & Apple Orchard Portraits

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour featuring delicious brick oven-style pizza, frozen apple cider, and plenty of time to mingle and celebrate together.

One of the best parts of a Chestnut Springs wedding is the incredible orchard setting, and we took full advantage of the beautiful apple orchard for Celine and Colby’s portraits. The soft evening light through the trees created such a romantic backdrop for photos while giving the two of them a quiet moment together during the celebration.

A Meaningful Reception Celebration

After portraits, Celine and Colby made their grand entrance into the reception where everyone gathered for dinner, heartfelt speeches, and an evening full of celebration.

The reception included emotional parent dances, their first dance as husband and wife, and one particularly meaningful tradition — a traditional Filipino money dance honouring Celine’s heritage.

The money dance brought so much energy and joy into the evening while beautifully celebrating family, culture, and the support surrounding their marriage. It was such a special moment that reflected the importance of heritage and connection throughout the day.
