Hope Golf and Country Club Wedding| Jessica&Tony
It was a summery April morning. The clouds floated high cascading in the sky passing above the mountains while Keira and I made our way to Hope BC for Jessica and Tony's wedding.
We pulled into the Coquihalla campground where all was quiet from the previous evening's pre wedding celebrations. Amanda was designated to hang out with the boys while Keira made her way to the girl's Air BnB in the Sunshine Valley. Tony was calm and excited getting the last final touches ready for the wedding. With the help of his groomsmen they got themselves along with Jessica and Tony's two adorable little boys ready. Jessica was so excited to finally marry her knight in shining armour. All of the girls were bubbling with exctitment and of course enjoying the bubbly in their glasses. They popped the champagne and helped each other get ready.
Typically April in BC is wet as April showers brings May flowers but Jessica and Tony lucked out with clear blue skies. The Hope Golf and Country Club provided the ceremony with spectacular views of the mountains and the gentle roar of the River gave ambiance. The sun was out and all of the guests were enjoying the warmth. The ceremony started and the cutest ring security boy led the way. Jessica's Grandfather was not able to physically be at the wedding but with a little help from technology and Jessica's Aunt he was still able to walk her down the aisle via FaceTime. The commissioner Cory shared their story followed by their own personally written vows. Rather than a unity lighting ceremony or a sand ceremony they chose a more unique paint ceremony. The two of them and their two boys each took turns pouring paint into a bottle which they can keep with them to represent that their day was shared with their children. The ceremony was polished off with a Sparkler exit welcoming the new couple as Mr and Mrs.
While Jessica and Tony were busy getting their photos done their Guests were being entertained by a Magician. The reception started off with speeches that showed the many angles of Jessica and Tony. Tony's uncle even included their love of angling (fishing) and how Jessica had no fear getting right in their with them and gifted them each with their own fishing rods. The evening party started with the wedding party shot gunning a beer together and eating the most delicious donuts we have ever tasted! They cut their cake with a little extra help from Tony. After their first dance the evening was followed up with a fantastic show from their Magician Kel.
Their wedding day was full of so many unique spins that made their wedding day all about them and the love that they share. From the moments with their boys to donuts to a magician the day was magical.
