Chris and Christine's wedding was incredibly personal and all about the love they share for each other. The decorations were all hand-made by Christine, which all fit together to accentuate their fairytale wedding. Their sweet little Corgi named Enzo was not able to attend the wedding but was very much a part of their day with so many details in his honour.

Christine had her hair and make-up was done by Beaumont Beauty in the comfort of her home before arriving at Whonnock Lake Center. The Bride and Groom to be shared a limo ride with Christine's mom and their wedding party. Christine and the girls whisked away to get into their dresses. Chris waited with anticipation outside for the big reveal of his glowing bride altogether. Christine's dress from Opportunity Bridal had rose gold details and a magnificent cape added to it. She looked like a woodland fairy princess and was beaming with beauty. They decided on a first look so they could have a personal moment and to speed up the group photos so they could spend more time enjoying the company of their guests.

The weather report was questionable calling for a chance of rain but we lucked out with a sprinkle in the morning followed by a glorious sunny afternoon. Just in time for their ceremony to be set up outside for their dream outdoor wedding. They had Jacob Dryden from Musos Entertainment playing live music to set the mood for their guests before the ceremony started. Chris and Christine read personalized vows to each other, sharing to everyone their story and promises with each other. Once the commissioner announced the new Mr. and Mrs. Majblat their reception began. The live music started back up while we quickly got through their family photos complete.

Chris and Christine entered their reception and immediately started the celebrations by doing a small toast at every table. The speeches were full of so many words of love and kindness from family and friends about the newly married couple. After a delicious dinner served by Salesian Catering, we went outside to catch the golden hour. We had our own fun toast with a bottle of bubbly. Moments later Chris's ring flew off and landed right in the lake! Christine laughed and continued enjoying the rest of her evening, of course razzing Chris a bit. Chris and a few others attempted a search and rescue of the ring but it could not be found. (Legend has it to this day it is still there haha.)

More light-hearted laughter about the whole scenario and the party proceeded. The dancing began and Chris and Christine shared not just one first dance but three, They were split up through the dancing. Steel productions had the music flowing and kept the dance floor flowing with disco being the fan favourite by all.

This is moments before Chris's ring went to live at the bottom of Whonnock Lake.......

Never to be seen again...

Kind words:

Amanda and  Keira were an absolute dream team to work with. They shot our Engagement photos and Wedding this year and were so fun to work with. I love how our photos turned out! I often don't like to get my photo taken but they made it so easy and we were very comfortable with them. Very talented and creative in their work. I highly recommend!
