Vancouver Aberthau Mansion Wedding| David and Sabrina
Aberthau Mansion wedding in Vancouver

Sabrina and David’s intimate wedding at Aberthau Mansion was the kind of day that feels both effortlessly elegant and deeply personal — a celebration centered on love, family, and meaningful moments.
It was a hot and sunny Vancouver afternoon, the kind that makes the ocean air shimmer and the gardens glow. Almost as if perfectly timed, the shade drifted gently over the ceremony space just as guests began to settle in, creating a cool and comfortable setting for Sabrina and David to say their vows. Sabrina got her stunning hair and make up done by Faye Smith Beauty before arriving at the Mansion.
One of the sweetest moments of the day happened quietly before the ceremony. David’s sister carefully assisted Sabrina with her dress, smoothing the fabric with such tenderness. It was a beautiful reflection of the closeness between their families — a theme that carried throughout the entire celebration. When it was time, Sabrina’s mom walked her down the aisle, both of them glowing with emotion as the soft strains of a live string quartet floated through the air.
The quartet’s melodies set the perfect tone — romantic, timeless, and heartfelt. Sabrina and David’s ceremony was short, sweet, and wonderfully sentimental. Every word felt intentional, every glance meaningful. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they promised forever in a setting that felt both grand and intimate at once.
After the ceremony, we took full advantage of the stunning landscape and historic architecture of Aberthau Mansion for portraits. The ivy-covered walls, sunlit pathways, and charming heritage details created a backdrop that felt straight out of a European garden party. Meanwhile, guests lingered nearby, enjoying the continued music from the string quartet and soaking in the golden afternoon light.
Dinner was an experience in itself. Long tables were set for a family-style meal, encouraging connection and conversation. The atmosphere was warm and inviting — laughter echoing across shared plates and clinking glasses. The meal, catered by Neue Catering, was nothing short of perfection — an exquisite balance of artistry and flavour. Every course felt thoughtfully curated, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious. In a fun and adventurous twist, Sabrina and David were especially excited to try caviar for the first time — a small but memorable highlight of the evening.
After dinner, heartfelt toasts were shared, bringing both laughter and a few happy tears. Then came the cutting of their beautiful three-layer cake, which was met with cheers before being served to guests.
As the evening unfolded, everyone mingled freely, savoring the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. In one of the most unexpected and delightful moments of the night, David’s nephew gave an impromptu piano performance that captivated the room — a reminder that the most meaningful weddings leave space for spontaneity.
When it came time for their first dance, Sabrina and David truly wowed their guests with a choreographed routine that was equal parts romantic and impressive. The room erupted in applause as they finished with a dramatic flourish, clearly having the time of their lives. Soon after, everyone was invited to join them on the dance floor, and the celebration shifted into a lively evening of music, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Sabrina and David’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that intimate celebrations often hold the most magic — where every detail is felt deeply, every guest is truly present, and love is the undeniable centerpiece of it all.
